Surroundings

There are several paradise-like beaches on the island, some of which are hidden between the rocks, such as Caló des Moro (34 km). Close to the house, you will find the popular beach Es Trenc (27 km), a 2 km long white sandy beach without high buildings or hotels in sight. Or drive to Cala Pì (40 km), a beautiful and quiet beach with a beach bar. Driving along the coast, you will come across numerous trendy beach bars where you can enjoy a drink and often eat very well too.

Near the house, you will find the traditional town of Felanitx (8 km), built in the thirteenth century, with several restaurants and some supermarkets. A short distance from the town is the monastery and church of San Salvador in the mountains (13 km). The monastery can be reached via the winding road with beautiful views. Porto Colom (21 km) is a pleasant nearby fishing village with beaches, restaurants and shops. The Blue Beach restaurant is a favourite with young and old.

Another nice town to visit is Artà (45 km). This town is surrounded by mountains and you will find beautiful streets and winding alleys with boutique shops and restaurants where you can get lost. Or visit the atmospheric Sóller and Port de Sóller (66 km), situated in a beautiful bay with impressive sea views in the northwest of the island. Here too you will find good restaurants, several tapas bars and a lively local market on Saturdays. Other nice places to visit are Santanyí (26 km), Pollença (57 km) and Santa María del Camí (38 km). For shopping, lots of bars and a bit more hustle and bustle, you can also drive to Palma (48 km) or Manacor (21 km).
